New legal team at Howes Percival in Northampton
The law firm Howes Percival is building a property litigation team at its Northampton office. The first two members of the team are the associate Jane Bloomer, who has moved over from Howes Percival’s Milton Keynes office, and Hannah Lacey, a newly qualified solicitor.
Jane Bloomer, who lives in Northampton, said she is excited by the move and the opportunity to build a team. “It’s a big challenge and a great opportunity, and Howes Percival is the perfect place to create a team which will be an effective champion for our clients.”
Hannah Lacey, who also lives in the town, said: “I’m enjoying working with Jane on this exciting new initiative. As a newly qualified lawyer it is fantastic to be given such an opportunity early on in my career.”
Jane Bloomer, a member of the Property Litigation Association, trained at Edge Ellison before joining the Birmingham offices of DLA and then Wragge & Co. She joined Howes Percival in 2005, has acted for several high street retailers and has substantial experience of contentious property work, landlord and tenant matters, lease renewal, rent review, dilapidations, break clauses, sub-lets and exit strategies.
Hannah Lacey qualified in September 2008 after training at Howes Percival since joining the firm in 2006.
Gerald Couldrake, Howes Percival’s Senior Partner in Northampton, said: “The new team, which we plan to grow in 2009 and beyond, adds a new string to the bow of the Northampton office. The experience of Jane and the enthusiasm of Hannah will get the team off to a flying start.”
