Vacation Scheme
Howes Percival operates a vacation scheme in each of its offices in Leicester, Milton Keynes, Northampton and Norwich.

The scheme runs during the Easter vacation and between the middle of June and the middle of August and each placement lasts for one week. During that time you will experience a cross section of the types of work in the office in which you are undertaking the scheme. The aim of the scheme is to give you a feel for opportunities and responsibilities which are on offer to Howes Percival trainees and each vacation placement student will work closely with the trainees in that office.

The closing date for applications for the summer scheme is 30th April.

Applicants for the scheme should have good A level grades and be on line for 2:1 degree or better. We have no preference between students studying law and non-law subjects although non-law graduates will normally have completed their first degree before undertaking a vacation placement. Applications are accepted from first year law undergraduates although preference is given to second years and above.

We find the vacation placement scheme to be an extremely helpful tool in identifying potential trainees and the majority of our current trainees undertook a vacation placement with us before joining the firm.
