Howes Percival's Private Client and Wealth Management Team continues to grow from strength to strength. Since Jane Cowley joined the firm to head up the Private client and Wealth Management Team, from a regional rival at the start of April 2010, Jane has secured high profile wins for the firm and established a clear market position both locally and nationally.

Recent recruitments now mean the team has expanded private client capability into Leicester and established a family capability in Northampton.

Elizabeth Young has practiced entirely within the traditional private client field most recently having led the Private Client team at a large regional midlands practice incorporating the Agricultural and Rural Business team and Contentious probate team. She has wide experience in providing bespoke Will drafting services and the associated tax and trust advice that is required, as well as advising on the application of powers of attorney. Elizabeth has since 2001 been appointed to the Court of Protection's Panel of Deputies. Complex/large estate administration has formed a large proportion of Elizabeth's probate experience and she has tended to focus on estates relating to Agricultural and other business owning clients and estates where there have been specialist issues to deal with.

The latest stage in the development of the Private Client Team and Wealth Management Team is the integration of the "high-end" Residential Property Team to complement the existing private client, wealth management and family expertise; able to provide a bespoke and comprehensive service to the target market of high net worth clients – people who expect the same high level of service in their private matters as they do in their business world. Leading this team is Stephen Thomas. Stephen has specialised in property since qualifying as a Solicitor in 1994. He has extensive experience of property transactions, dealing with high net worth clients, developers, investors, pension funds, Housing Associations, lenders, general commercial conveyancing, site acquisitions and disposals
