Howes Percival LLP has teamed up with two highly-respected companies in order that we can offer HIPs to clients. We will take the stress out of having to produce a HIP as we will have the capability to obtain the information required for a HIP - the legal information, the Home Condition Report and searches.
We will be able to prepare HIPs within 7 days of instruction, and the HIP will be available electronically and in hard copy.
We recognise that the majority of sellers will not have the funds to pay for a HIP up-front. We have therefore negotiated several options for such clients including a credit card scheme, a consumer credit scheme and a choice of paying part up-front and the remainder on completion.
Opportunities for introducers
We are encouraging all introducers to actively start speaking to their customers to advise of the impending change to the house selling process. In this way, introducers can be the first port of call when customers sell their properties.
We are able to prepare HIPs for clients introduced to us by a third party, and this may create several benefits for introducers:
