We are looking for a trainee legal administrator/secretary to provide secretarial assistance to our legal teams.
This role will be full time from 9 am to 5 pm each day. Experience working within the legal environment is not essential as training will be provided. You will need to be educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent) with grade C or above in Maths and English.
Duties and Key Responsibilities:
Transcribing notes and dictation from digital dictation
Making and receiving telephone calls and passing on accurate messages.
Using electronic message systems and office equipment
Designing and producing documents
Supporting the running of projects, including events
Diary management and the organising of meetings
Filing and photocopying
Collecting information and files
Dealing with confidential information, filing, creating reports and files
Greeting clients and demonstrating good customer service skills
Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with other employees
Communicating effectively with people
Skills and Abilities:
Listening and Communication Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word
Familiarity with Legal Documents and Terminology (desirable)
Attention to detail
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Understanding of confidentiality requirements
Sufficient time will be given for the apprentice to attend apprenticeship training provided by CILEx Law School.
