How many seats do I have to undertake?

We have to comply with our SRA obligations which require at least 3 seats in different areas. We usually do 4 6-month seats

Where will the seats be?

Either in Corporate Commercial, Commercial Property, Commercial Litigation, Employment, Family, IP/IT, Planning or Private Client. If you are in East Anglia there may also be a seat in estates which covers real estate and private client work.

Does it matter where I do my LPC?


Should I take any specific electives?

It will be most useful to your training contract with the firm, should you gain one, to take electives in the areas the firm specialises in.

Do you offer paralegal vacancies?

We do on occasion have paralegal roles and these would be advertised in our vacancies section.

Which law fairs is the firm attending?

Sheffield, Leicester, UEA, Northampton and Nottingham Trent

What social events does the firm organise for trainees?

We have an annual summer party for current and future trainees which particularly gives future trainees an opportunity to get to know those trainees they will be working with. In addition, every year we have a firm wide AGM every year, plus local office Christmas parties. We also have regular social events organised on an office by office basis and by Practice Group.
