Norwich Health & Safety Protection Seminar
We invite you to join us at our Health & Safety seminar in Norwich on 30th January 2020.
This seminar is specifically for health and safety consultants, consultancies and providers and will provide practical advice and assistance to enable them to protect themselves from investigation and enforcement action by health and safety authorities.
The topics include:
- duties and responsibilities of consultants and providers under health and safety law
- managing client's expectations
- the significance of agreed service parameters and sticking to them
- managing investigations (the client's and your own)
- key considerations regarding improvement and prohibition notices, and notifications of contravention
- confidentiality and privilege
- reports of visits and audits and 'provisos'
- the need for robust business terms and carefully worded sales/marketing materials
- evidence in your own defence
- managing and maintaining the client relationship post-incident
- dealing with and responding to enforcement action
- advising clients – when to 'fly solo' and when to get help
The seminar will be led by Howes Percival's 'Top Tier' health and safety team, which has vast experience of working for and with health and safety consultants, consultancies and providers throughout the UK, advising them on law and compliance and representing them in enforcement action by HSE and others.
