Headway Cambridge and Peterborough support adults impacted by Brain Injury, resulting from, but not limited to stroke, road traffic accident, trips and falls. Their aim is to improve day-to-day life for every individual; to improve their confidence, independence, empower them to access community assets, to socialise, enhance their wellbeing, provide them with tools and techniques to manage their symptoms and to support them in achieving their goals.

Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People

Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People is the East Midlands’ only children’s hospice, providing expert palliative and end‑of‑life care for babies, children and young people with life‑limiting conditions. Based in Loughborough, Rainbows supports families across Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire, offering care at the hospice, in hospitals, or at home, wherever it’s needed most. Their compassionate team helps manage symptoms, create cherished family memories, and provide vital bereavement and sibling support, ensuring families receive exceptional care during the toughest of times

Food Bank

MK Food Bank

The food bank provides emergency food parcels to local families and individuals who hit a short term crisis.

It relies entirely on donations of food and money from local schools, churches, businesses, organisations and individuals.

In the first six weeks of 2022 MK Food Bank gave out more than 2,500 food parcels, 10% up on last year.

Sue Lambert Trust is a Norfolk charity providing a kind, safe, non-judgmental, and supportive range of services for people who have experienced sexual abuse, sexual assault or sexual violence.

Through fundraising efforts from the community, the Sue Lambert Trust is able to provide one-to-one counselling sessions, group sessions and guided self-help. The aim is to find the best course of therapeutic support for each client, so that they can start living the life they want.
