Headway Cambridge and Peterborough

Headway Cambridge and Peterborough support adults impacted by Brain Injury, resulting from, but not limited to stroke, road traffic accident, trips and falls. Their aim is to improve day-to-day life for every individual; to improve their confidence, independence, empower them to access community assets, to socialise, enhance their wellbeing, provide them with tools and techniques to manage their symptoms and to support them in achieving their goals.

Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People

Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People is the East Midlands’ only children’s hospice, providing expert palliative and end‑of‑life care for babies, children and young people with life‑limiting conditions. Based in Loughborough, Rainbows supports families across Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire, offering care at the hospice, in hospitals, or at home, wherever it’s needed most. Their compassionate team helps manage symptoms, create cherished family memories, and provide vital bereavement and sibling support, ensuring families receive exceptional care during the toughest of times

Their aim is to establish a national service that seamlessly complements public services, offering crucial support to the 1.7 million people who don't have access to mental health care.

East Anglian Air Ambulance

The East Anglian Air Ambulance provide advanced critical care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to the most seriously ill and injured people across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. 

Fuelled by donations,  they attend the most serious and life-threatening medical emergencies, from road traffic collisions to cardiac arrests, and are able to provide care as fast as possible, normally only found in specialist emergency departments. 

As well as providing emergency care, they provide aftercare, community lifesaving training and undertake clinical research too.
