Event Date: Tue 17th Nov 2026
Howes Percival's employment team is pleased to announce they will be holding an in-person employment seminar on navigating the new harassment obligations.
Our employment seminars are designed to be informal gatherings for HR professionals to learn more about, and to discuss specific HR issues.
With the duty to take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment now in force and the wider duty to take ‘all’ reasonable steps, and prevent third party harassment, due to come into force on 30 October 2026 employers should be undertaking comprehensive reviews of their practices and procedures in this area.
Additional whistleblowing reforms already in place relating to harassment means employers should be investigating how workplace concerns are raised, investigated and addressed.
This practical session will explore:
- Lessons learned from the duty to prevent sexual harassment
- What ‘all reasonable steps’ might look like in practice
- Third-party harassment and wider workplace conduct risks
- Handling harassment complaints and investigations
- Increased whistleblowing protections and proposed legal reforms
- The role of reporting channels, workplace culture and protection from retaliation
To sign up to this FREE session, please register below. Please note that spaces are limited and are not reserved until confirmed. We reserve the right to limit spaces per organisation (if required).
