Howes Percival has won ‘Commercial Property Team of the Year’ at The Cambridgeshire Law Society Legal Excellence Awards.
Held annually, the Legal Excellence Awards recognise the best individuals, teams and law firms practising in the city of Cambridge and the surrounding area. Due to the coronavirus lockdown, this year’s awards were presented virtually at a black-tie Zoom event.
Howes Percival’s Commercial Property Team is a dedicated, client focused team, providing outstanding service across the full spectrum of real estate legal services – including construction matters and property litigation. The team offers a ‘one stop shop’ for investors, developers and other organisations in the real estate sector. Clients include the University of Cambridge, Greene King Plc, Turnstone Estates, Raspberry Pi Foundation, Ely Cathedral, Luton Hoo Estate, and Laragh House Developments.
Commenting on the award, Jonathan Greenhalgh, a Partner at Howes Percival said,
“I’m delighted that the team has been recognised with this prestigious accolade. Howes Percival entered the Cambridge legal market only six years ago, so it was especially pleasing to receive this award in the face of tough competition from more established firms.
“We have had a very busy 12 months and while Covid-19 has brought different challenges, we were able to switch quickly to agile, remote working and continued to receive new instructions and find more creative ways of servicing our clients’ needs. I’m incredibly proud of the team, the exceptional service they have been able to provide and the quality of the transactions they have completed this year, despite the challenges presented by the pandemic.”
