Howes Percival Shortlisted Three Times for East Midlands Dealmakers Awards 2024

5th April, 2024

Howes Percival has received three nominations for Insider Media’s East Midlands Dealmakers Awards 2024.

The annual awards recognise high quality work from the top professional services firms in the East Midlands region. The categories are judged by a panel of independent experts and the winners will be announced at a gala dinner event taking place at the Nottingham Belfry on Thursday 9 May 2024.

The categories the firm has been shortlisted for are:

  • Corporate Law Firm of the Year
  • Deal of the Year (up to £10m): Project Milano: Sale of Building and Land Guarantee to Russell Scanlan
  • Deal of the Year (£10m+): £20m Sale of Green Power Hire to Speedy Hire

James Stephen, head of Howes Percival’s Corporate, Commercial and Banking team said:

This is excellent news and testament to the team.  We are thrilled to be shortlisted once again for so many categories and the ongoing recognition we have received at the Dealmakers Awards in recent years reflects the expertise and commitment of our people and our capability to handle high-profile local deals.

Jeremy Hyde, a partner in the Corporate, Commercial and Banking team based in Leicester, who led the team advising on Project Milano, said,

This is brilliant news. We are absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted for Corporate Law Firm of the Year again and in both deal categories.  It has been great to work closely with other local advisors on such high-profile regional transactions. Our goal is to be the ‘go-to’ firm in Leicester for corporate, commercial and banking work and these nominations demonstrate that our hard work is paying off.
