Experience and Background

City trained, Gary is a highly experienced corporate lawyer. He acts for a variety of clients from listed companies, private companies, PE backed entities and partnerships.  His  expertise covers the full range of corporate and commercial law including mergers & acquisitions, JVs, shareholder advice and MBOs/MBIs.  Gary has strong sector experience in holiday parks and logistics and is regularly asked to advise on M&A that has a cross border element.

Recent experience includes:

  • Acting for a well known guitar amplifier brand on their secondary MBO, strategic acquisitions and group re-organisation.
  • Acting for two large holiday park operators on all of their acquisition and disposal work.
  • Acting for a French logistics operator on its first strategic acquisition in the UK market.
  • Acting for a national parcel delivery company on its acquisition of a courier company.
  • Acting for a FTSE 250 building materials group on its corporate acquisitions and disposals.
  • Acting for the UK subsidiary of a US based tooling company on its disposal of a non-core subsidiary to a US PE backed entity.
  • Advising the shareholders of a UK based tech company on their disposal to a US West Coast PE house. 

Gary trained in the City of London and moved his practice in Milton Keynes in 2003.  Since that time Gary has established himself as a trusted and well known legal adviser in the Milton Keynes area advising national and international clients on all of their corporate matters.
