Experience and Background

Jacob is a first-year trainee solicitor currently undertaking his second seat within the Corporate team in Leicester. He assists the team with:

  • Preparing, amending, and reviewing legal documents, including ancillary documents such as board minutes and Companies House forms.
  • Reviewing target companies' documents to identify risks for mergers, acquisitions, and investments.
  • Coordinating deal workflows, maintaining project checklists, and organising completion meetings.
  • Organising "transaction bibles" (compilations of all signed deal documents) and ensuring all necessary regulatory filings are submitted.

Jacob previously completed his first seat in the Insolvency Service team in Norwich.
