Jan undertakes a wide range of private client work, specialising in estate planning for high net worth individuals and business owners. 

Her expertise includes trust creation and advice and associated tax advice; complex estate administration including agricultural and landed estates; and personal tax and succession advice. 

She is a recommended lawyer in the 2024 issue of The Legal 500, described as standing out “owing to her combination of expertise and professionalism with a compassionate and down-to-earth manner”. 

Jan is dual-qualified in Scotland, England and Wales.
