Experience and Background

Megan has recently joined the Contentious Trust and Probate team at Howes Percival and is based in the Leicester office.

Megan has experience in all manner of contentious trust and probate disputes, including will validity challenges, administration disputes, executor removal applications and claims for reasonable financial provision pursuant to the Inheritance Act 1975. Megan has also dealt with contentious Court of Protection matters, acting for both the deputy and for the concerned family member. 

Megan understands the sensitive nature of these disputes and the importance of unlocking them at an early stage. Megan has regularly engaged with alternative dispute resolution and has attended several mediations.
