Tim advises landowners and rural businesses on complex, high-value property matters. He leads Howes Percival’s Agribusiness team in Norwich.
He has extensive experience acting for landowners on strategic land transactions, including collaboration agreements, option and promotion agreements, and pre emption and overage arrangements. He also advises on rural diversification projects such as anaerobic digestion (AD) plants and solar and wind developments, as well as the sale and purchase of farms and large landed estates.
Tim works closely with his clients to understand their long term business and project objectives and helps to achieve their goals by providing sensible, pro-active, and relevant commercial advice.
Before specialising in agribusiness, Tim spent over 25 years as a commercial property lawyer, including 17 years in London and time in a leading Norwich practice, where he focused on development work. He moved into agricultural property 14 years ago and has led specialist agribusiness teams since then.
He is a member of the Agricultural Law Association and, while he has an established presence in the Norwich market, he regularly advises clients nationally on strategic land and rural diversification projects.
