Changes to Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) Fees

From 17 November 2025, the application fee for registering an LPA will increase from £82 to £92 per document.

That means that if you wish to register both a Property & Financial LPA and a Health & Welfare LPA, the total cost will rise from £164 to £184.

So why act now?

By completing the process now, you can secure the current lower fee.
LPAs give you peace of mind that, should you lose capacity in the future, people you trust can make decisions on your behalf.
If you lose capacity without an LPA in place, your family could face costly and time-consuming court applications to be able to assist you.
