Two Howes Percival colleagues have been shortlisted for the East Midlands Chamber Enterprising Women Awards 2026.
Apprentice Solicitor, Lucia Burns has been shortlisted for Apprentice of the Year, while Employment Partner and Board member, Paula Bailey has been shortlisted for Businesswoman of the Year.
The Enterprising Women Awards celebrate the achievements of women in business across the East Midlands and recognise individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to their organisations and communities.
Lucia Burns works in the Dispute Resolution team in Leicester and assists with a range of disputes, including property and commercial litigation matters. She has also recently been shortlisted for Apprentice of the Year at the Generation Next Awards 2026 which recognises young people’s exceptional contribution to their workplace.
Paula Bailey is Head of the Employment Law team at Howes Percival and a member of the firm’s Board. Having joined the firm in 1997, Paula has contributed extensively to the firm’s growth and success as well as that of the local community in and around Leicester.
Winners will be announced on 25 September at a ceremony held at Center Parcs, Sherwood Forest.
