Howes Percival Raises £11,000 for Norwich Office's Charity of the Year, Sue Lambert Trust

18th December, 2025

Howes Percival’s Norwich office is delighted to announce that they have raised an incredible £11,000 for its 2025 Charity of the Year, Sue Lambert Trust.

Their specialist counselling and therapeutic services provide vital support for survivors of sexual violence and abuse, and we are incredibly proud to raise awareness and funds for the life-changing work they do.

From sweet treats to adrenaline-fueled challenges, our team came together to fundraise for this vital local charity. Events included bake sales, the annual Howes Percival Norwich Charity Christmas quiz, staff lunches, Tour De HP, and the Summer Classic Cycle. We also volunteered at Sue Lambert Trust’s Pride event and took fundraising to new heights with a charity skydive.

One of the most memorable events was the 40-mile sponsored relay walk from Great Yarmouth to Norwich, completed by 10 determined fundraisers in September. Setting off at 7am and finishing at 9.15pm, the teams clocked up over 685,000 steps during the 14-hour challenge. Along the way, Gordon Simpson, Partner at Howes Percival, raised smiles by dressing as a seagull before switching to a wolf suit. The walk alone raised £1,300, contributing significantly to our overall total of £11,000.

Jessie Powell, Finance/Fundraising Manager of Sue Lambert Trust, commented:

The team at Howes Percival have been fantastic at not only participating in our fundraising challenges this year but also creating their own like their incredible 40-mile sponsored walk from our Great Yarmouth office to our Norwich office. The effort and energy they have given to supporting Sue Lambert Trust and the impact this will have on sexual abuse and sexual violence survivors in Norfolk has been nothing short of inspiring. It’s really shown us and others what is possible when people work together and support an important cause like ours.

Sam Leaver, Howes Percival’s Norwich Charity Co-Chair member said:

Howes Percival have been honoured to work with the Sue Lambert Trust this year. The office has really enjoyed coming together for all the efforts to raise much needed funds and awareness for the vital work the charity undertakes. Jessie and her team have been a pleasure to work with and have offered Howes Percival volunteers undertaking mammoth activities much needed support and motivation on key days. We hope that the money we have raised will go some way to helping Sue Lambert Trust support those who rely on the charity.

We are incredibly proud of the commitment and enthusiasm shown by our Norwich team and grateful to everyone who donated and supported our Norwich events this year.
