Becky is a Senior Associate within Howes Percival’s specialist construction team, based in the Leicester office and working on both contentious and non-contentious matters.
Becky balances the contractual risk within her client’s construction projects, undertaking work for Developers/Employers, Main Contractors and Sub-Contractors. With extensive knowledge of drafting, reviewing and negotiating both industry standard (JCT/NEC) and bespoke forms of construction contracts, appointments, and collateral warranties.
Becky also has experience in assisting with contentious matters, including debt recovery, adjudication proceedings and litigation across the supply chain.
Becky’s previous experience includes six years in-house for a construction firm, operating projects from North Yorkshire to Cambridgeshire. The company held various roles in the supply chain across various sectors including housing/social housing, commercial development, education, waste recycling, plant hire, maintenance, industrial and warehousing which provided her with a keen commercial understanding of the challenges faced by many different participants in the construction industry.
Becky delivers training on construction topics for the team and attends legal and construction events across the East Midlands, particularly Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.
