Sophy has considerable expertise in acting for Government departments, including HMRC and the Insolvency Service. She has litigation experience in both Tribunals and the High Court including trials, applications for winding up orders, and asset recovery including freezing orders and provisional liquidations. Sophy now works in the Insolvency Service Team undertaking a broad spectrum of insolvency work including asset recovery in bankruptcies and corporate insolvencies on behalf of the Official Receiver and insolvency practitioners and investigations into director conduct on behalf of the Insolvency Service.
