Howes Percival facilitates the sale of DKL-Marketing to Beysal

29th November, 2019 by Gerald Couldrake

Howes Percival has acted for the shareholders of Northampton-based DKL-Marketing Limited (DKL) in its sale of shares to Pat Avenue (HK) Limited.

DKL-Marketing is known for marketing and distributing international (mostly Danish) quality children’s brands in the UK & Ireland for over 30 years.

Having always been a family company, DKL has now been acquired by a subsidiary of a Spanish toy giant – Beysal Europa S.L.

The acquisition of DKL will help Beysal grow its presence in the UK’s children toys’ market.

The new DKL-Beysal is based at the previous DKL premises and continues to trade as normal in the busy Christmas period.

The Howes Percival’s corporate team responsible for facilitating the sale of DKL included Gerald Couldrake and Marianna Ryan. DFA Law acted for Beysal.

If you need advice on a significant acquisition or disposal and would like to speak to one of our expert team, contact us today.

Gerald Couldrake commented:

We have acted for DKL for many years, including from the years when their “Troll” figures were the “must have” Christmas presents that every child asked for. It was a real pleasure to act for the owners to enable them to pass on ownership of DKL to a well-regarded international toy brand who can continue and expand the company’s market presence.
