In response to an increase in new instructions, leading regional law firm Howes Percival has expanded its Leicester office with the appointment of three associate solicitors – Gary Pitt, Santino Stifanelli and Kiran Vohra.
As a specialist commercial litigation lawyer, Gary deals with a wide range of commercial matters. His experience includes dealing with contractual disputes in the County Court and High Court, interim applications, urgent injunctions and contentious insolvency matters. He has a specific interest in restrictive covenant matters, particularly in an employment setting, and can advise on enforcing contracts against employees in breach, or defending ex-employees facing claims. Gary has successfully assisted both applicants and respondents in High Court injunction applications. He was previously an in-house solicitor with the Pertemps Network Group, and prior to that; a solicitor at Spearing Waite LLP.
Santino has joined the Corporate team as an associate. He advises on a range of corporate transactions (including business sales, acquisitions and restructurings), commercial contracts (including terms & conditions, supply & framework agreements, distribution and franchising arrangements) and financing documents. Santino was previously an in-house legal counsel for FTSE 250 company, Domino’s Pizza UK & Ireland Limited, which gave him invaluable experience in a range of corporate and commercial matters.
Kiran has joined Howes Percival’s Commercial Property department as an associate and acts for commercial property lenders, property investors and landowners. She undertakes a broad range of real estate transactions including freehold/leasehold sales and purchases, landlord and tenant matters and property finance work. She also assists with corporate support property matters and complicated property transactions. Kiran was previously with Nelsons Solicitors Limited.
Howes Percival’s Leicester office provides a full-service legal offering. In addition to corporate and commercial law, the office specialises in real estate, intellectual property, insolvency and corporate recovery, employment law, commercial litigation, property litigation, estates, private client and family matters.
